Conference Call

The
Cost-Efficient Conference Calling Solution
|
New York
– If you have business concerns outside your immediate
area, chances are you’ve already made use of one of
the many conference call services offered by telecommunications
companies. The convenience of minimizing travel and cost has
made conference calling a popular alternative to out-of-town
meetings.
Bigfoot
Communications launched its Conference Call service
last year in a bid to offer consumers high quality conferencing
service at rates even mom-and-pop setups can afford. Other
conference call service providers’ rates range from
25 cents/minute to $1/minute. At 15 cents/minute per party,
Bigfoot Conference
Call gives better value for your conference calls.
Bigfoot
Conference Call rates are, on average, 70% lower
than other service providers’ rates. This translates
into huge savings for the budget-conscious conference caller.
Here’s some feedback* from our satisfied clients:
| "I
am so happy with your service. My board had 7 board meetings
by phone conference this year. When using (competitor),
the average cost of a meeting was $350 to $400. With Bigfoot
the average cost was around $70. The quality was equal
or better with Bigfoot. I am so amazed. (I’ll) tell
all my associates." |

who used your conference call facilities was pleased with
the call quality and ease-of-use; I passed your web address

How
and where do I report spam?
If you wish to report a spammer, it is best
to follow these simple steps:
1.
Report spam immediately so our anti-spam
officers can act on it as soon
as possible.
2. Do not, under any circumstance, reply
to or correspond with spammers.
This will only tell
spammers that your e-mail address is valid
and active.
3.
Forward the complete message of the spam
mail with full headers.
Click
here for more information on
how to attach headers.
4. Forward the spam e-mail with full headers
to the appropriate anti-spam address. |
Your
spam report will be acted on faster if
you send it to the right address.
5. You can also report specific breaches
in e-mail abuse regulations set by the
Federal Trade Commission to uce@ftc.gov.

Bigfoot hates spam as much as you do. If ever
you get spammed, please do not hesitate to report
it to us.

The Monster That Is spam |
|
New York – One of the most annoying things
you might be dealing with today is opening your
e-mail and finding tons of spam in your inbox.
In some cases, you’re probably getting more
spam than legitimate e-mails. The spam problem
has, over the years, turned from a small, mildly
amusing phenomenon to a resource consuming multi-headed
monster. There are innumerable methods and messages
spammers use – and in the ongoing arms race
between spammers and anti-spam providers, it seems
the bad guys are a little ahead.
There
are many ways spam can cause harm. Even if it’s
just to delete junk mail, spam eats up time and
resources by forcing you to clean up your mailbox
every so often. It causes strain on servers and
slows down Internet connections. Scams and cons
are done on an international scale through spam
(e.g. Nigerian scam) while porn spam ends up in
kids’ mailboxes. The list is endless.
The
official figure on spam varies. Current industry
estimates range from 25% to 50% of total e-mails
received. According to Inspector Mails, the Bigfoot
Anti-spam Artificial Intelligence, for the month
of December 2002, the total number of spam mails
received by Bigfoot servers was 131,756 mails.
This is about 43% of the total number of mails
received by Bigfoot servers. The most dramatic
rise was on December 25, 2002. On Christmas Day,
the percentage of spam reached 59.74%. This figure
can be partially attributed to the holiday season.
Bigfoot’s
anti-spam partner, Brightmail, recorded spikes
in spam activity over the holidays while industry
analysts fear that spam levels will continue to
increase over 2003. Clearly, the spam problem
won’t be going away in the near future
Bigfoot
stands firm on its commitment to control spam
and will continue to combat spam with the latest
and best technology available. Watch out for more
updates on Bigfoot Anti-spam from Inspector Mails.

Success
Starts With
A Good Domain Name |
| Increasing
visibility is fast becoming the first concern
of anybody who does business online. Many online
marketers tout the value of search engine positioning,
having the right meta-tags, e-mail marketing,
banner ads, the list goes on… What many
potential e-business people forget is that success
starts with a good domain name.
This
step in creating a website is mostly taken for
granted yet is at the heart of anyone’s
e-business. Among the many benefits of a good
domain name are:
- The
right domain name is the all-important first
step to doing business online. Your domain name
defines who you are and what you’re selling.
That means it’s possible to communicate
your entire business value proposition with
just your domain name.
- A
good domain name also helps your customers by
giving them an immediate idea what your website
is all about. This saves your customers time
by enabling them to make a decision on where
to buy or take their business without them having
to click through numerous sites.
-
Branding is another concern that the right domain
name addresses. Your domain name automatically
creates mental associations whenever someone
reads it. This can be critical to the success
of your website and business. A good domain
name can increase brand awareness and recognition.
-
Finally, conventional marketing still works
but can be very costly. Online marketing and
advertising, when done properly, can achieve
the same results at
a fraction of the cost of conventional approaches.
For best results, an integration of conventional
and online marketing is the way to go.
Make
the right domain name the hub of your own successful
website. After all, your domain name is your identity
on the web.

name, check
