Prefer Conference Call for Convenience
and Affordability, Survey Says
So
admit it, you really need a conference
call. How would you like your conference
call service to be? What are the features
and services you want in your conference
call?
To
pinpoint and identify the exact needs
and preferences of its subscribers,
Bigfoot
Conference Call ran a survey entitled
"The Bigfoot Conference Call Survey
on Conference Call Usage Among Bigfoot
Subscribers." The aim is to use
the data and information gathered to
help further enhance its conference
calling services.
About
166 of Bigfoot clients in the US and
Canada responded to the survey.
The
survey revealed that a lot of companies,
majority from the computer/Internet
services industry, are using conference
call as an alternative to physical meetings.
Fifty eight percent of the subscriber-respondents
are using the conference call service
to meet their communication needs, and
another majority of them have been using
the service for more than 6 years already.
For
most of the subscribers, conference
call affords them the convenience of
bringing people together in an instant,
without having to spend much. Most of
the companies that responded to the
survey said they only spend not more
than $500 on conference calls in a month,
which makes it a veritable cost-cutting
measure.
Also,
according to survey results, most subscribers
prefer to conduct pre-scheduled or pre-arranged
conference calls involving an average
of 5 attendees in a call.
Most
problems of the conference call subscribers
are answered by customer service within
24 hours after the problem is made known.
